Creche Caregiver

Heart of Eve Foundation is a Lagos based NGO aimed at providing Christ-centered educational and social supports.  We are looking for experienced professionals to serve in various positions in our creche and nursery school program in Lekki, Lagos.
 
For consideration, applicant:

• Must be a devoted Christian
• Must be knowledgeable of fundamental biblical teachings
• Must be a quick learner and able to work independently
• Must be dependable
• Must have integrity of character and conduct
• Experience with early childhood education/setting preferred

 
The following positions are open:
 
Teaching Assistant
Duties:

• Minimum of 1 years of experience working in nursery/primary school program
• Demonstrate effective classroom management strategies
• Work closely with head teacher and other program staff
• Support the developmental growth of each child based on individualized need
• Complete all required training and attend meetings
• Assist other staff to perform their duties when necessary
• NCE preferred

 
Creche Caregiver
Duties:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with infants and toddlers professionally
• Support the developmental growth of each child based on individualized need
• Complete all required training and attend meetings
• Assist other staff to perform their duties when necessary

 
Family Worker/Administrator
Duties:

• Maintain all student and staff records
• Serve as liaison between parents and educational program
• Manage educational program schedule and appointments
• Complete all required training and attend meetings
• Assist other staff to perform their duties when necessary
• Bsc in Sociology, Social Work, Psychology or related field preferred

 
Facilities – Interior Maintenance
Duties:

• Maintain cleanliness of the interior of the building at all times
• Routinely monitor all rooms for tidying and waste disposal
• Continuously ensure proper disinfecting of surfaces and objects throughout the school day
• Assist other staff to perform their duties when necessary

 
Homemaker
Duties:

• Maintain the organization of the kitchen and related projects
• Prepare and deliver meals daily to each classroom
• Ensure hygienic storage, preparation, and serving of all food stuff
